CAD & Drafting

Sheet metal design and flat pattern drafting

Sheet metal models, flat patterns and fabrication drawings set up for your materials, tooling and bend allowances.

The problem

Sheet metal parts look simple until the flat pattern is wrong. Bend allowances, reliefs and tooling limits have to match the shop floor, or parts get remade.

What we do

  • Sheet metal parts and assemblies in SOLIDWORKS
  • Flat patterns and DXF exports for cutting
  • Bend tables and gauge tables set up for your materials
  • Fabrication drawings with bend notes and tables
  • Conversion of solid parts to proper sheet metal features

What you get

  • Native sheet metal models and drawings
  • Flat pattern DXFs
  • Bend and gauge tables

You own the deliverables, in native files, once paid. Your engineers review and approve all work.

Good fit when…

  • You produce enclosures, brackets, panels or ductwork
  • Flat patterns need manual correction before cutting
  • Your shop has bend data that is not in the CAD system yet

How it works

How a project runs

The full process
  1. Step 1: Scope

A call, then a written Statement of Work with scope, schedule and price.

  2. Step 2: Kickoff

You share standards, templates and files. We confirm the plan.

  3. Step 3: Work overnight

Send work at the end of your day. Review it at the start of the next.

  4. Step 4: Review weekly

Weekly alignment against the SOW. Anything off-scope is fixed free.
